All the attendees to Eroticon 2017 have been asked to make some virtual introductions. I hate these things but here goes…
NAME (and Twitter if you have one)
I’m using the pen name Alun Norley but I’ll answer to whatever. For some reason, most people cal me Andy or Paul. Neither of which are my name. Alun will do (if you can pronounce it the Welsh way, then you’ll have my undying respect and gratitude 😛 ).
Twitter: @alunnorley or https://twitter.com/alunnorley
What are you hoping to get out of Eroticon?
Writing erotica, blogging etc is all releatively new ground for me and I’m hoping to be able to use the knowledge gained from this years seminar to at least get a good start. This is my first Eroticon. Yep, I’m an Eroticon virgin! I’m looking forward to spending time with likeminded individuals and most of all- to learn from the best.
This year’s schedule is pretty full on but which 4 sessions do you already have marked down as ones you want to attend?
Toughie. They all look so good. I’m really interested to hear what Malin James has to say. I’m more of a plotter, so Ashley Lister’s session looks to hold my interest. Kate Lister’s – A history or Erotic Writing and Obscenity is another that really piques. An essential for a newbie like me has to be Anna Sky’s getting your work into print. Lastly, Kinkcraft. I’ve been a fan of Andrew and Pixie from the get go and I just can’t pass up the opportunity to hang with those guys for at least a little while.
Tell us one thing about yourself that not many people know.
As a kid, I was thrown out of the USA along with my family as undesirable aliens. All over a misunderstanding of where my sisters name originated. What a crap holiday that was. More about that here.
If you could have one skill for free (I.e. without practice/time/effort) what would it be?
I’ve always wanted to play a musical instrument. I’d love to be able to pick up almost anythign and be able to bash out a recognisable tune. If I could play the piano my life would be complete.
If you made the papers, what would the headline be?
Overworked IT guy finally flips his lid after yet another caller complains they have broken the cup holder on their PC.
Complete the sentence: I love it when…
People just get along.
I’m not big on big events and I’ll most likely be hiding away – unless the other me makes an appearance.
